காத்திருப்பு
ஒருகை நீட்டி சிறிதே திறந்து
ஒருக் களித்த கதவின் வழியே
ஒருகரு விழியால் வரும்வழி நோக்கி
சிறிதாய் ஏக்கம் அதனுள் தேக்கி
ஒருபா திமுகம் மட்டும் காட்டி
தன்மறு பாதித் தலைவனின் வருகை
எதிர்பார்த் திருக்கும் ஏந்திழை இவளே!

ReplyDeleteIt does surely. Many of us were stuck in office till late hours and I dare say our wives were waiting for us. But with a change - The longing look replaced by an angry stare, and who knows what was in the hands hiddedn behind the door? Ha Ha!
