தசாவதாரம் - 3 - வராகஅவதாரம்

பல நாட்களுக்கு முன்னால் தசாவதார வெண்பாக்கள் எழுத ஆரம்பித்து முதல் இரண்டு அவதாரங்கள் பற்றிய பாடல்களை- ( மச்சாவதாரம், கூர்மாவதாரம்)- பதிப்பித்திருந்தேன். 
அப்போது நான் எழுதி இருந்த முன்னுரை இது  -

தாத்தாக்களுக்கு  ஏற்படும் ஒரு பெரிய சவால் பேரக் குழந்தைகளுக்குக்  கதை சொல்வது. கதை சொல்ல உட்காரும்போதுதான் "நமக்கு நன்றாகத் தெரியும்" என்று நாம் எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்த கதைகள் கூட முழுவதுமாக நினைவில் இல்லை என்ற ஞானோதயம் ஏற்படுகிறது. அது மட்டும் இல்லாமல், பேரன் பேத்திகள் குடைந்து, குடைந்து கெடுக்கிற கேள்விகள் வேறு ! இந்த சிக்கல்களிலிருந்து தப்பிக்கொள்ளத்தான் , நான் என்னுடைய தசாவதாரக் கதைகள் பற்றிய " ஞானத்தை" கொஞ்சம் புதிப்பித்துக்கொண்டேன் ( நன்றி - அமர் சித்ரா கதைகள் மற்றும் இணையங்களின் பதிப்புகள் ). இது வரை முழுதும் தெரியாது இருந்த சில விஷயங்களையும் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன். இது நான் பேரன் பேத்திகளுக்குச் கதை சொல்லப்போகும் நேரத்தில் உதவும். 

உங்களுக்கும் இவை கைகொடுக்கும் என்று நினைக்கிறன்.

தொடர்ந்து  இந்தப் பதிவில் வராக அவதாரம் குறித்த பாடலும் , அது குறித்த விளக்கம் ஆங்கிலத்திலும்.

மண்ணுலகை ஆழ்கடலில் ஆழ்த்திவைத்த ராட்சதனை
வெண்ணிறப் பன்றியின் ரூபத்தில்   - கொன்றபின்
பூமியைத்தன் மூக்கிலே தாங்கியே மேற்கொணர்ந்த
*நேமியன்  வாரா கனே !

*நேமியன் - உயர்ந்தவன்; நியமம் தவறாதவன்.  

In VARAHA Avatar, Lord Vishnu incarnates himself as a boar in this world. The background to this incarnation is this  :
A demon Hiranyaksha, had prayed for Lord Brahma and got awarded a boon that no beast nor man nor god could kill him. But somehow from the list of beasts the name of boar was missing. This proved to be his lacunae. He then started a campaign of plunder across the worlds. He pushed the world to the Pataal loka, or the under of the sea.

To  save the world the Lord Vishnu assumed the role of a boar, killed Hiranyaksha and brought out the earth from the under of the ocean, using its two tusks.
