நாளாச்சு
நானும் என் மனைவியும் இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு முன் அமெரிக்கா வந்தடைந்தோம். நான்கு ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின் இந்த அமெரிக்க விஜயம். முன்சென்ற வருகைகளின் போது நான் பார்த்து மகிழ்ந்த இயற்கைக் காட்சிகளை மீண்டும் நேற்று இரவிலும் இன்று காலையிலும் என் மகனது வீட்டின் வெளி முற்றத்தில் அமர்ந்து ரசித்தபோது எழுந்த எண்ணங்கள் இவை- ஒரு பாடல் வடிவில்!

வெட்ட வெளியில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்து வானைப் பார்த்து நாளாச்சு
சிட்டுக் குருவிகள் சிறகை விரித்து பறப்பதைப் பார்த்து நாளாச்சு
மைனாப் பறவைகள் வானுலா வுவதைப் பார்த்து மகிழ்ந்து நாளாச்சு
ஆனந்த ராகம் அவைகள் பாடுவதைக் கேட்டுக் குளிர்ந்து நாளாச்சு..
வட்ட நிலவொளி பட்டுப் புல்வெளி சொலிப்பதைப் பார்த்து நாளாச்சு
வீட்டுத் தோட்டத்தில் காட்டு மான் கூட்டம் மேய்வதைப் பார்த்து நாளாச்சு
உண்டு கொழுத்த குண்டு அணில்கூட்டம் ஓடுவதைக் கண்டு நாளாச்சு
செண்டு செண்டாகப் பூத்த மலர்க் கொத்தில் வண்டுகள் பார்த்து நாளாச்சு
இத்தனை அழகையும் மொத்தமாயிங்கு சேர்த்துத் தந்த இறைவனையே
நித்தமும் இந்த இயற்கையின் வடிவில் பார்த்திடும் நேரம் வந்தாச்சு.
